T9 Transfer Hatch

T9 Transfer Hatch
Unique design - to eliminate attacks in banking halls and duress attacks on CIT vehicles.

Current Bank practices and smoke-box designs force Cash-In-Transit crew to open transit boxes in the banking hall, in order to transfer bagged cash to the secure side of the counter. This gives thieves the opportunity to attack the crew and steal the cash without the benefit of cash degradation systems damaging the banknotes.

Our unique design and placement of the T9 Transfer Hatch eliminates the need to open the case in the banking hall. The Transfer hatch is positioned in the counter or dividing wall between the customer and bank side.

The armed T9 transit case is placed in the hatch by the crew member and its door is closed. This automatically disarms and unlocks the case. Bank staff open the interior door and are presented with an open case, from which they can remove the contents and/or load a sealed bag straight into it. There is no need to take the case out of the hatch. Closing the interior door automatically locks and arms the T9 and opens the exterior door, presenting the crew with a locked and armed case to which they have no access, ready for the return to vehicle. The opportunity for robbery is eliminated.

Fitted in a CIT vehicle, the unique one-way operation prevents the hatch being used to empty the vehicle of cash under duress. This eliminates the need for time-delay systems that reduce efficiency.

The T9 Transfer Hatch protects crews, deters thieves and repays your investment.
