The T9 was conceived as the result of a vital need for a new type of security container for protecting cash in transit. The replenishment of ATMs and the delivery of bagged cash demands a completely secure method of transporting the pavement, but no established manufacturer had provided it - until ATMP delivered the goods!

We know that security is dependent on a thorough risk assessment. So by working closely with Security and Operational departments of the Cash-In-Transit Companies, a new design was created. Feedback and experience from the crews were concentrated into our design brief, along with the full range of operational parameters specific to either bagged cash delivery or Cassette replenishment:

Capacity: Designed to carry all types of STM cassette or up to £25,000 of loose notes in perforated bags.

Safety: no pyrotechnics, explosive or smoke-emitting systems are fitted, eliminating the risk of combustion or smoke inhalation.

Reliability: the elimination of electronic keys, timers, motion-detectors and inboard chargers, to prevent false activations and aborted deliveries.

Simplicity: auto-arming and proximity-opening is the fastest and simplest operational methodology, increasing productivity and eliminating errors.

Effectiveness: activation by crews at the point of attack or remotely using SMS technology, or automatically when the tamper circuits are broken, activates the bonding liquid that instantly damages the contents to provide an effective deterrent to repeated crew attacks.
